Well for my project, i have gotten as much information as i possibly could get. I just have to find a little more stuff for the project so i can publish it and put it into my educreations presentation. I am 20% done with the project i would say. I hope to finish most of the project by spring break. As of right now, i'm working hard on it to get it finished as quick i can.

This week, i've started to actually work on the project small by small. I haven't really had a chance to work on the project at school because of all the classwork and other random assignments being given to us. Well, i got to research a little bit on the history of Social Media and how it's changed not just the way we communicate but the efficiency at which Social Media works. Also, i've made sure to allocate the fact that there are also negative aspects of social media websites and applications, such as addiction and mis-use. It took me a long time to actually come up with a project idea, but i feel like this is a good one to go into. Again, the purpose of this project is to show the positive and negative aspects of social media websites and applications. I'm just trying to cut some corners and make it more appealing to my audience.

For my 20% project, I had to think about what exactly i wanted to do. I've decided to a educreations presentation on my iPad as the major part of my project. I had decided this after Mrs. Kemp came to me and asked what exactly i wanted to do on the project. Therefore i chose to a presentation using the Educreations, because its original and not your typical powerpoint presentation to the class. I haven't really done anything based on the project, but i do plan on doing a lot of research in the negative and positive aspects of social media in today's society. I plan on explaining and giving more detail in my next blog.

For my 20% project, i've decided to do something about the positives and negative aspects of social media websites and applications. What i'm going to do is make a slideshow and compare and contrast  the ideas, using stastistics and other useful information to back up claims from both sides. I just thought of this idea now, but i decided this was a topic that would be very appealing amongst students and young adults which they could relate to. I'm thinking about using either the Prezi app for iPad  or using powerpoint on a laptop i use at home. I haven't finished my proposal yet, but i know now exactly what i want to do. So, i most likely will finish and show you my proposal tommorow. I haven't specifically done anything yet on my project, but i plan to work on it as soon as you approve it tommorow or ASAP. The inspiration i had for the project was me being very interested in social media and how it affects society in good and bad ways. Since i haven't started on my project yet, i dont have any sources or sites to list as resources.
